Lambton County's Only Championship Links-Style Course
Sawmill Creek boasts an exceptionally-conditioned par 71 "Links-style" 6,427 yard championship layout featuring bent grass on tees, fairways and greens.
The landscape was transformed into an amazing golf facility with the addition of over 1,000,000 tons of earth across the course. The mounding between holes is spectacular with many adjoining fairways not visible to players. From the Championship tees, huge bunkers, desert-like waste areas with mounds of fescue and bluegrass rough make the course a great test of golf. From whatever tee you select, one constant remains -- an enjoyable round of golf awaits you.

Water comes into play on 13 holes, and Sawmill Creek meanders through the central area of the course. What to many was perceived to be flat farmland has now been transformed into a beautiful setting of rolling hills with surprising elevation changes. The original design of Rene Muylaert, created four par-5s, eight par 4-s and six par-3s all with well-designed bunkers and undulating greens. We have recently renovated the front nine with exceptional design changes from renowned course architect Doug Carrick. We have worked hard to provide one of the finest Links courses in the province. |
